![]() We've had plenty of bad examples recently, and Bioware REALLY needs a slam dunk.Ĭlick to shrink.Yes. That's normal for any game - especially ones as large as Mass Effect Trilogy - but considering Bioware's struggles in recent years, we all could use some reassurance that this won't be a bungled, buggy, botched port of beloved classics. I hope to laugh about this concern later, but all reports have indicated the remaster hit some bumps on the road. ![]() ![]() I have no doubts the remaster will see release, but I do find it worrisome that for a game allegedly planned for a release two months ago we still haven't even seen a single screenshot or trailer of the game in motion. Now I honestly hope I'm wrong and that the remaster is coming along swimmingly and this is just an unfortunate coincidence. If they're having these sort of problems remastering games they already made, I imagine there HAD to have been some talk with Bioware and EA recently, especially as Bioware went from having a 2020 release planned to missing the entire year, which is again on a collection of old games that I'm sure EA wants to spend as little time and money on as possible. The game got bumped out of the fourth fiscal quarter, missing all fall and winter holiday sales, and moving to a nebulous 2021 date. Leaked plans had this Remaster pegged for last October and it supposedly got delayed months because they were having issues with it, up to and including modernizing ME1 to some capacity.
